Info for Presentation

Instructions to presenting authors

Oral contributions: Please introduce yourself to the chair of your session 15 minutes before the session starts. Bring your presentation on a USB stick and copy your presentation to the computer in the room of your session. Technical  personnel will be on spot.

Your presentation must be in PDF format. Make sure that all fonts are embedded. Users of other presenting  programs such as Microsoft Powerpoint are requested to export their presentation to PDF.

Facilities will be available in the Conference Office to check up on your presentation.

Oral presentations are expected to be delivered in the language of their abstracts. Participants who have submitted a German abstract are encouraged to prepare their presentations in English. Note that DAGStat conferences are  international conferences and that there will be many participants from abroad.

Contributed presentations are assigned 20 minutes including discussion. This time limit is strict. Chairs will assure compliance with the time limit.


Posters must be *A1 portrait format*, that is 59.4 cm (23.4 inches) wide and 84.1 cm (33.1 inches) high. This format is a strict requirement. We encourage all authors to prepare their posters in English. Note that DAGStat conferences are international conferences and that there will be many participants from abroad. Pins for fastening the posters will be available at each poster board.

Please put up your poster before Wednesday, March 20, 16h30, as posters must be at their place before the poster session
but not before Tuesday afternoon, March 19, 16h00.

Deadline for removal of posters is Friday March 22 at 14h00. The conference organizer is not responsible for posters not collected at the end of the conference.

Poster presenter should be next to their poster during the Poster Session Wednesday, March 20 at 6:00pm. We encourage authors to add a small picture of themselves on their posters.

More details on the poster session, including allocation of the individual posters, will be communicated in due time.
